Dr. Onyeka C Abengowe  

 

Hello & great to meet you!

My name is Onyeka Abengowe. I am a wife, mother, and passionate clarity ambassador for women. I am also a Licensed Insurance Broker and Independent Financial Professional helping families protect their health and income, and build generational wealth.

 

I was born and raised in Nigeria, West Africa. I moved to the United States from Nigeria with a degree in Microbiology/Biochemistry, and a Masters's degree in Microbiology. Learning to adapt to my new environment offered me the opportunity to explore careers in multiple industries, including Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, and Finance. I hold professional licenses and certifications in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Lean Six Sigma (Healthcare), Corporate Training, and Business Negotiation.  I also have an MBA in Healthcare Management and a Doctorate degree in Healthcare Administration.

Why I created The Clarity Success Formula™

After almost 20 years in healthcare as a nuclear medicine imaging specialist and consultant, I wanted a change, but I wasn't sure where to start. I enjoyed interacting with and caring for my patients. As a consultant, I absolutely loved being involved in nuclear medicine imaging laboratory start-up and management, licensing, accreditation, and regulatory compliance. Despite my love and passion for Nuclear Medicine Technology, I knew I was stepping into another season of my life, I just wasn't sure what my next chapter was going to be.  

 

I hated the idea of calling this phase of my life a "midlife crisis" because it sounded negative and induced a sense of urgency. I panicked and did what most people do - learn HOW to do what "everyone" else is doing. I went through some failed attempts at learning HOW to do things I had no business doing. The information overload became overwhelming. I was doing everything they said to do and putting in 1000%, and yet it didn't work for me.  No matter how much I tried, I found myself losing interest after a few weeks. Finally, I decided to disengage from learning how to do what everyone else was doing and set out to find clarity to intentionally create a meaningful and fulfilling platform that reflects my purpose, calling, and life experiences. Instead of a midlife crisis, I found my midlife clarity!

The Clarity Success Formula™ is the result of my journey to find my midlife clarity. This formula transformed my life and empowered me to learn and explore life-changing personal and financial principles that have formed the core of my next chapter - Empowering families to protect their health and income and build generational wealth. I also found my purpose in helping midlife women turn their "midlife crisis" into midlife clarity, and empowering them to reinvent themselves and create an impactful and fulfilling next chapter.

Volunteering and Philanthropy

I have had the honor of sharing my knowledge and expertise, mentoring, and training less experienced colleagues. I advocate for random people I come across in my daily life. I care deeply about causes that motivate, empower and elevate women and children, especially girls, and have deliberately sought out and participated in such causes. I volunteer as a skills development mentor and facilitator for high school students in my school district. I also volunteer with The Good Samaritans of Garland, Texas.

 

My mission is to empower as many women and girls as possible to discover their calling and develop skill sets that position them to fulfill that calling successfully. Women are the bedrock of any society. There is a saying that "When you educate a woman, you educate a village." My modified version is " When you empower a woman, you empower a village". When women succeed, the village succeeds!
